The Ica, Paracas, and Nazca Lines Tour is an awe-inspiring journey that’ll take you to the most phenomenal landscapes, archeological artifacts, beautiful islands, and villages of Peru. This journey will have you spellbound with certain sites shrouded in mystery, bordering the unbelievable.
Enveloped in the golden dunes of the Ica desert sits the tiny oasis village of Huacachina, lying 5 km / 3.1 miles from the city of Ica. Huacachina, offering sandboarding, dune buggy tours, one of the best Pisco and wine in all of Peru and a flight over the Nazca lines, is truly every adventure lover’s treat.
The Nazca Lines, located northwest of southern Peru’s Nazca city, are geoglyphs of geometric line drawings, only visible if you’re able to secure an aerial view of the desert land.
On this 2 day tour, you’ll also visit Paracas, a charming coastal town lying 245 km / 152 miles from Peru’s capital, Lima. From Paracas, which is home to hundreds of marine species and ecosystems, you’ll be able to go on a boat tour of the Ballestas Islands and other boat tours which will grant you a glimpse of Peru’s Humbolt penguins, sea lions, and other marine life.

We’ll start this 2 day tour with a 5:00 am pickup from your hotel in Lima and a 3 ½ hour drive to Paracas, located South of Lima.
You’ll then visit the mystical Islas Ballestas, or Ballestas Islands, on a 2 hour boat tour with our professional guide who will shed light on the historical significance of these small islands that dot the ocean off the coast of Paracas.
You’ll also get to see the hundreds, if not thousands, of birds and animals like penguins, sea lions, pelicans, and dolphins that have taken up residence in and around these magnificent islets.
You’ll also get to see the Paracas Candelabra, or the Candelabra of the Andes, where lies a prehistoric geoglyph etched into a seaside hill on the northern face of the Paracas Peninsula.
Afterwards, we’ll take a 1 hour and 20 minute drive to Huacachina where you’ll get to enjoy a delicious lunch. You’ll then get to go on an adrenaline-packed dune buggy and sandboarding tour amidst the dunes of Ica, before calling it a day.
You’ll spend the night at a charming hotel in Huacachina.
With an 8:30 am pickup from your hotel, we’ll take you to the airfield. Here, you’ll hop on a 40 minute flight which will grant you an aerial view of the famous Nazca line drawings of animals and geometric figures.
Then it’s off on a 2 hour drive to Ica, where you’ll get to enjoy a spot of lunch before we head on over to one of Ica’s lovely vineyards for the Pisco and Wine Tour.
After the 1 hour tour and tasting of the wines and piscos offered by one of Ica’s most famous vineyards, we’ll take you on a 4 hour drive back to Lima where we’ll drop you off at your hotel.
